We
just spent four and a half days in Washington DC at the Enlightened
Wealth Retreat. What a great experience. There is nothing like
surrounding yourself with entrepreneurs and people following their
dreams. We made many contacts, renewed some passions, found focus and
perhaps a new mentor.
The event was capped off by a presentation by Omar Periu.
If you haven't heard him speak or bought nay of his products, I will
tell you that he is the epitome of enlightened wealth. A caring,
generous, down to earth, multi-multi millionaire.
Out
of all the presenters that we saw, we felt most compelled by him and
Marshall Sylver. Omar was the only one we felt compelled to purchase
training material from. I am now also looking for training stuff by
Marshall Sylver, and found a few things on e-bay that I am bidding on.
Marshall's stuff is about self esteem and mind control, (meaning
internal, controlling your emotions and using your self confidence and
his methods to be
more persuasive.
We
are again getting back to basics and are focused on real estate. We
have made some pretty serious money with real estate in the past two
years, and need to get back to that, so we can get the freedom NOW. We
signed up for a Robert Allen 90 day real estate challenge, and may be
contestants on a reality TV show. (more on that, if it happens)
Have
you ever felt like you were wasting your time or maybe just that you
didn't have focus or direction on what you wanted to do? I have drifted
a little bit since my book came out. Somehow it became anti-climactic
when it was released. I am sure that had to do with finding no support
from local papers or bookstores. No one wants to deal with a first time
author with a book from a print on demand publisher. It doesn't matter
how
good or bad the book is, it just is not Random House or Oprah's Press.
I let that get me down, but I have brushed my pants off and I am
getting back on the horse. My two other businesses are starting to take
off, so I can make the book thing work as well. F the local press. When
I am famous and rich I will still be me and I will remember how I was
ignored. No vindictive behavior, but what goes around comes back
around.
The
other thing that comes with the wealth that is barreling my way is the
awesome fun of sharing it with charity and local causes (and of course
my friends and family.) Joy to the world. Money doesn't buy happiness,
but it helps when the bills are paid and when I can pay the bills for
others. Listen up Human Society, Berks Women in Crisis and Make a Wish
Foundation: The previous checks were good, the next ones will be
better.
What a great week, and what a great life. Thank you!
